Submitting a petition

 

Before you begin filling in this form, read carefully the online help instructions on the correct procedure for submitting a petition to the European Parliament. This form must completed in one of the official languages of the European Union.

As soon as you have sent your petition by e-mail, you will receive electronic confirmation that it has been received.

In any further correspondence concerning action taken on the petition, the European Parliament will communicate by post.

Please take the time to answer the questions below. We need a certain amount of information in order to register your petition.

The name of the main petitioner and the petition number is published in the Minutes of the Parliament and the Official Journal, accessible on the Internet.

Please be advised that this site is not currently equipped to receive large-scale or mass petitions. Associations or individuals organising such campaigns are requested to make such submissions of supporting signatures by post.
