During the July plenary session, Parliament is due to vote at second reading on the text agreed with Council on the 2021 2027 European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF). With a budget of about €6 billion, it is the main financial tool in support of the common fisheries policy.
